The day Margo was born was an epic display of love, dedication and knowledge of the self as a Goddess. This is a story of this day in which a Goddess gave birth to another goddess, and the blessings of the birth.
Change of Plans and Sky
I arrived at the hospital at 3 am and found out the birth location was changed last-minute. This baby wanted to be born at a different hospital! I drove to the new hospital and the sky shifted from a calm summer evening to a cleansing thunderstorm with heavy rain. The thunder gods were preparing for this goddess to be born!
I didn’t have an umbrella in my car, but I grabbed my Nordic Viking blanket and wore it like a cape as I ran into the hospital. Luckily it kept me dry because I was planning to stay at the hospital for several hours until this baby was born.
Anchoring the Energy
I entered the birthing room and discovered one of the most beautiful displays of strength. Goddess Genevieve was in labor and experiencing contractions every few minutes. She had her husband, Andrew and Jess Quinn, birth and postpartum doula at Blooma, there for support. A midwife and a nurse also regularly checked on Genevieve.
Between contractions, she asked me to set up an altar anchoring in the four elements with Mother Gaia placed in the center. The altar was a beautiful, regal display that set the tone for the entire birth experience.
From that point on, Genevieve held her energy beautifully.
She asked for exactly what she needed. The presence of her highly-trained team and loving husband also ensured she had tremendous support.
The Blessings of Birth
I held energetic space for several hours until the opportunity to perform the baby blessing at the time of birth. This ceremony is based on the ancient rite of passage that is a lost art. It is a sacred ceremony performed by a highly trained ritual master in the lineage of King Salomon. The Modern Mystery School tradition has preserved this art throughout time.
I offered the ceremony the moment Margo was born and energetically sealed this newborn in the light. It was her first initiation! I spoke the words to this precious being, so intelligent and powerful. She opened her eyes, locked her gaze with mine, and was still, calm and aware. It was as if the world stopped! The blessing will forever leave a place in my heart as a holy moment that I had the opportunity to experience.
When I finished, many nurses and medical staff said the blessing was one of the most beautiful they had witnessed. They were moved by their experience of observing the energy of the baby blessing ceremony!
Gratitude and Wishes for the Goddess
I proceeded to thank each person who supported my friend, Genevieve, during her labor. Their dedicated service was heart-based and made a positive impact on the entire experience. I am also grateful for the role that Andrew played during the birth. He provided stability, strength and love that I know will extend into his role as a father to baby Margo.
Finally, I am grateful for this child of light, Margo, who knows she is an eternal being. May she always be blessed with the knowledge that she is a goddess! My wish for you, dear Margo, is to live your life with joy and anchor your divine blueprint into the world. You chose your parents wisely and you have an incredible network of lightworkers around the world trained in the ancient path – to Know Thyself!
