The full moon in Capricorn on July 13 is called the “full buck moon”. This week’s full moon works with the energies of discipline, structure, business, responsibilities, and boundaries. All of these components are needed to manifest and create anything here on earth.
In the Modern Mystery School lineage, we work with the virtues of the full moon three days prior and continue working with the energies three days after the full moon.
The Virtues of Discipline and Boundaries
This full moon is the biggest and brightest super-moon of the year. It is shining a light on the virtue of discipline, which is needed to successfully manifest your goals and anchor them into reality. This moon brings awareness to the need for structure. It helps us create a strong foundation to build upon.
The July full moon also helps us create boundaries, which is needed to manifest anything in the physical because it creates the structure or form to manifest within.
This moon is also a good time to work with the element of earth. It helps to ground success in business and focus on responsibilities.
Anchor the Power for Positive Manifestation
Are you interested in further exploring and anchoring the Full Moon in Capricorn and its powerful virtues for the next month of your life?
You might explore it by joining me in community at the Modern Mystery School on Friday, July 15th for a Hermetic Full Moon Manifestation Ritual and Meditation. Register here if you are interested! This full moon ritual will support you in receiving energy from the moon and anchoring it into your life for positive manifestation. We will flow with the goddess energy of the moon, which is what is needed to create boundaries, structure, discipline, and form. At the end of this full moon ritual, each person can connect to the energy and make a special prayer request for what it is you wish to resolve or anything you wish to manifest.
The meditation following the ritual is designed to bring clarity and to help you anchor the virtues of this moon into your life for the next month.
Full Moon in Capricorn Reflection Practice
If you are interested in personal reflection with the virtues of the Full Moon in Capricorn, consider the following reflection practice.
- Take your journal outside and reflect on the light of the moon
- Gaze at the moon for at least 5 minutes without doing anything else. Just pause and engage with her beauty. No need for words. Just look at the moon.
- What are you experiencing? Are you sensing anything? Record your thoughts in your journal.
- If you could talk to the moon (you can!), what would you say? Try speaking out loud to her! Or at the very least, write it in your journal.
Remember: The moon is a being. She is alive. Build a relationship with her! Be sure to express your gratitude for the light reflected to you on this full moon. Blessed be!
